Frequently Asked Questions
The SiliconExpert Integration needs to be bought separately and is not included in any existing subscription. The price is determined by the number of annual part queries. A part query is when you request SiliconExpert data on a part. If you request data multiple times for the same part, it will only be counted as one query per annual billing cycle. No, the SiliconExpert data is only available with Altium 365 cloud solutions. However, we are currently evaluating if we can make data accessible for On-Prem and Altium 365 GovCloud customers. Unfortunately, we can’t provide any timeline yet.
Currently, we include the following SiliconExpert parameters:
YTEOL, RoHS, Lifecycle, REACH Status, SE Grade, RoHS Risk, Multi Sourcing Risk, Inventory Risk, Lifecycle Risk, Alternatives.

You need to have Altium Designer 23.7 and need to be connected with your Altium 365 Workspace. Your library needs to have Part Choices added - or at least Supplier Links, if you are still using a local library.
